Silk Sale in Silk town                alt

Yards of exquisite printed silks, bags of gorgeous remnants to get creative with and vivd scarves and ties and luxurious silk handkerchiefs. For one day only the traditional Adamley Silk Mill have opened their store cupboards and are bringing their textile treasures to sell at The Heritage Centre in appropriately Silk town.

A percentage of profits will go to the Silk  Museum.

Inking and Thinking - an exhibtion by Artist and teacher David Evans.

INKING AND THINKING - THE ART OF BOOK ILLUSTRATION

A practical workshop, suitable for 8-12 year olds but families welcome.

Children will be shown how to storyboard a book and then taught how to assemble images and text to produce one of their own, which they can take away.
